I have long been overdue to start this particular journey. I am going to start running marathons. Baby steps 5K first then we'll graduate to 10K status before we move on to the big ol 42.
First things first, I have to get myself running 5K before I can even think about entertaining the full marathons.
September 13th is the Electric Run in Raleigh, I missed the one in Charlotte. I have about 5 weeks to be able to run 5K efficiently. So I have to improve by .62 miles a week. Sounds easy enough.
Training starts tonight! Anyone with me?
